Prison Ministries

Prisioners and our Brothers need our prayers and support!    Visit Bro Jerry’s Blog here http://kohlbrand.wordpress.com/    Quote from Bro Jer’s Blog By Mr Jerry Kohlbrand former print shop owner of “For the Kingdom Press which printed the P2P devo for years.   Jer says,  ”I have been working on this project since 2003. How kewl to be workin with prisoners, who have had a real conversion and are sharing their faith, through this devotional. “Prisoner to Prisoner” is the only daily devotional that is written and edited…”by prisoners for prisoners”.It also speaks to people in the free world. These devotionals are provided in the spirit and tradition of the Kairos Prison Ministries. The ministry is SPONSORED by Marion Correctional Institution, Marion, Ohio and Kairos of Ohio Prison Ministry.”  End quote.

I met Jerry Kohlbrand on a Christian Ebay group about 8-9 years ago. I was newly Born Again and “thought” I was on fire for God; turned out I was just HOT HEADED.  LOL, My user name on eBay back then was Lordswitness because of the desire to witness to everyone and enable them to to witness to others.  I could’nt afford a Bible when God saved me so was burdened to wholesale Bibles. God led me to eBay and to our group there which was started to sell but that quickly took a back seat when we began to help a Prisoner and formed a prayer warrior team. My friends there nicknamed me “flamin’ hair” which didn’t help in my thinking my actions were indeed an “on Fire” witness to the Lord.  Bro Jer and I had some very heated doctrinal issues that ended in me being plum mad. (and NO it was no where near righteous anger, but no one could tell me that then)    God used this and used Bro Jerry to teach me many things about how we are to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.  I no longer judge others of different Religious denominations. I am non denominational but was raised and taught some very WRONG religious rule I now believe was a doctrinal racism.  Thank the LORD for his Mercy and Grace and that He softened my heart and showed me to LOVE all! Arguments as such never lead anyone toward God.  Here on our MINISTRY HUB we are our brothers keeper.  All are welcome!  A huge thanks and God Bless you to Jerry Kolhbrand for putting up with me and loving me back when I was so mean!  He and his family as well as his God given Outreach to many, especially those in prison need our prayers and our support.

I have asked Jerry to post here to kick-off our Bible Hub / Ministry Hub. Please fell free to post your Church, Outreach or Mission. Please pray for others here. If God has blessed you and He leads you to support them, PLEASE DO!    That is what this Ministry Hub at Budget Bibles is all about!  We can help with low priced Bibles from our sister site www.MissionsBibles.com Let me know what Bibles you need or even if you want tyo donate some and we will all pray together and then go negotiate the best price available with our Bible Publishers.  FOR HIS KINGDOM!!!   Amen!

http://kohlbrand.wordpress.com/    Jerry lost his printing store when the economy tanked and like so many is in a finacial jam. YET he STILL is used by the Lord willingly, joyfully and He still is working, now spiritually ”FOR THE KINGDOM” !  Have you ever seen a BANANA spread the Gospel? Well now you have Bro Jer  describes himself as : Just an ole guy with 7 kids and a 6ft Naner. No “biggie”! :-)
